Hi and Welcome to First Grade! 

My name is Megan Kraus and I will be your child's First Grade teacher for the 2022-2023 school year! I graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor's Degree in both Psychology and Sociology. I then proceeded to enter Stockton University's Teacher Education Program, where I completed my degree and certification in Elementary Education with a Specialization in Middle School Science. 

I had the pleasure of growing up in North Beach on Long Beach Island and am beyond thrilled that I get to teach in the same school district that made me fall in love with learning from a very young age. It is my goal to help all of my students develop the same love of learning that I did while at Ethel Jacobsen Elementary School by creating a safe, productive, and engaging learning environment with your child where they can grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
