    Welcome to Second Grade! 
    My goal for us this year is to learn and have fun. I'm looking forward to meeting all of you, and I look forward to a successful year together.
     
    Please visit this page for classroom information and updates. You will also find links to online games and activities which will reinforce the skills we are learning in our classroom. I will be using this page and google classroom throughout the year to keep you informed and up to date on all our classroom happenings!

    Science- Topic 4 Test Plants and Animals - Begin Animal Habitat Project
     
    Homework
     
    Homework will be assigned nightly and will consist of 15-20 minutes of reading.  Students are encouraged to read daily and fill out their monthly reading log calendar.  Our goal is to read 300 minutes each month! Reading log calendars are due at the end of each month.  Also, Monday-Thursday nights, students will receive basic math fact practice or the daily math lesson assignment.  These assignments should take no more than 15 minutes.   There is no homework assigned over the weekend. Please check your child's agenda to view their assignments or notes from the teacher.
