Raffle Ticket Fundraiser

We are excited to introduce the PTA’s main fundraiser for the 2024-2025 school year. We are having a raffle ticket fundraiser that starts at the end of August and will run through September. For every ticket purchased, you will have ten chances to win $400. All the details are below. We are asking all staff and families to sell one book of tickets (please feel free to sell as many books as you want!) in order to make this fundraiser a success. 

The money raised through the ticket raffle will directly impact all of the programs/activities we can provide through the PTA this year. Enclosed is a brief list of the programs/activities we were able to accomplish last year. With your support, I know this fundraiser will be a success.

Details of the raffle ticket fundraiser:

  • Tickets will be available for pick up at summer orientation at both EJ and LBI School,  Back to School Night at both schools, in the main office in both schools, as well as  through any LBI PTA executive board member(contact information is below)

  •  There are 5 tickets in a book and each ticket costs $20 (a total of $100 for one book of tickets). You can choose to buy the tickets yourself or sell them to others. The PTA is legally not permitted to take electronic payment for tickets. Purchases have to be made by cash or check.  

  • We are requesting that each “family”/”staff” member sell/purchase one book of tickets. Please feel free to sell/purchase as many books as you would like. The more we sell, the more money we will raise.

  • All ticket stubs and money will need to be received by September 30th. Stub and cash/check can be given to any LBI PTA executive board member, dropped off in the main office of either school, or sent in with you child(ren) in an envelope labeled “LBI PTA Ticket Raffle”. 

  • We will draw one ticket a week for ten weeks starting on October 7th. The winner will be contacted via phone. The winning ticket is placed back into the pot each week so that each ticket has ten chances to win. 

  • Each weekly winner will receive $400!

  • The dates of the drawings are: 10/7, 10/14, 10/21, 10/28, 11/11, 11/18, 11/25,12/2, 12/9, and 12/16

  • All drawings will take place at the LBI Grade School
