Emergency Closing Delayed Opening Early Dismissal

Please remember that in the event of inclement weather and school is closed, or the opening is delayed, or an early dismissal is necessary, a message will be sent via our emergency notification system to all parents. It will also be posted on the school website www.lbischools.org and announcements will be made over the following radio/TV stations:

                                    WOBM – 92.7 FM     Toms River

                                    News 12 New Jersey  TV Channel 62

If your phone/email information has recently changed, please forward updated information to the school office.

DELAYED OPENING/EARLY DISMISSAL SCHEDULE

Delayed Opening:  LBI School begins at 10:15 a.m. and the EJ School begins at 10:25 a.m.

Children should report to their bus stop 2 hours later than their normal pick-up time. 

**Please note that in the event of a delayed opening, AM Preschool class is canceled.  Full-day Preschool students follow the regular school schedule as noted above. 

Early Dismissal:

  • EJ School dismisses at 1 p.m.
  • LBI School dismisses at 1:10 p.m.    

 

Parents are asked to make certain their children know what to do and where to go in the event of an early dismissal or delayed opening.
